E-Coat - Electrophoretic Paint Coatings
E-coating is also known as Electrophoretic paint, KTL coating or Electrocoat. It is a process where water based paint is deposited on metal components through the application of a direct current. This allows for a uniform film thickness that is highly corrosion resistant. The E-coat application is well suited for threaded components and also to maintain hole sizes.

E-coat is mostly used by the Automotive Industry but can also be used in other industrial applications where a high corrosion resistance is required or where small tolerances of coating thicknesses exist.
